Just a quick introductory post about how my love for art all began! #StoryTime

I have always been fascinated by the way a pencil could capture exactly what your mind is thinking. Well sort of. Most people don't become skilled and talented artists just by thinking. What I mean is simple, really. More so the idea that while holding a pencil, my brain can send a message to my hand telling it to draw a line on a piece of paper and just like that: I've created something. Cause and effect.
At an early age, my grandmother gave me a pencil and a piece of paper and showed me something that changed my little life forever. With the lead of a pencil, I could alter something that had already been and make it different. I could create. Just like that, my little toddler mind understood that very reality. The markings I had made, although quite meaningless, were powerful. They were mine.
